VCSAR 3 News Six Members Retire - March 2008
The East Valley team lost over 80 years of experience with the recent retirements of six of our members. They were honored at a dinner in March 2008 and presented with plaques commemorating their many years of service to the team and the community. Team Members Awarded the Medal of Merit - April 2006 On April 15, 2006, the Police Officer Association of Ventura awarded eight members of the the East Valley team and five members of the Upper Ojai team the Medal of Merit for their rescue efforts during the La Conchita mudslides on January 10, 2005. The Award Ceremonies were held at the Reagan Library.
