Serving Ventura County for over 40 years

Team members are highly dedicated and skilled volunteers that are extensively trained in search techniques, technical rope rescue, tracking, swiftwater rescue, communications, winter operations, urban search and rescue, and search management. The East Valley team has met the rigorous requirements of the Mountain Rescue Association (MRA) since 1989, is a member of the California Region of the MRA, and operates under the direction of the Ventura County Sheriff's Office

Our team's response area includes the Ventura County portion of the Santa Monica Mountains and the Santa Susanna Mountains. The East Valley team assists the other Ventura County Sheriff's Search and Rescue TeamsFillmoreUpper OjaiDiveCanine, as well as other teams throughout the State of California.
